Operating Fund

Donations to this fund support the critical day to day operations of the rental assistance program and the Open Door. Funds will be used to help buy supplies such as reader glasses, birth certificates, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, laundry supplies, underwear, etc. It will go to support services to help prevent homelessness by keeping people housed in their current housing instead of having them go through an eviction process.

Capital Campaign – Opening Doors

Donations to this fund will go to support the capital campaign to develop a Community One Stop Resource Center for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Naming opportunities for rooms and services are available.

Emergency Assistance Fund

Donations to this fund help people in crisis with their immediate needs in order to stabilize them until other sources of assistance are identified and available. The majority of money in this fund is used to assist homeless people with prescriptions. .This fund can also be used to help house families for short periods of time if there is no other place for them to go. It provides bus tickets home for people who need to return to their support system. It purchases items needed for employment such as uniforms or work boots.

All donations are tax deductible. A tax receipt is provided.

Donations from people like you ensure that our organization is able to continue the critical work of helping single mothers, the elderly, families, youth aging out of foster care, domestic violence victims, the disabled and others attain housing and related services. Your tax deductible gift in any amount is greatly appreciated! It will be acknowledged with a tax receipt which will be mailed to you.
